Since you have clearly read/viewed the information I have provided on attachment, I think you're ready for the next step. To provide healthy attachment, parents need to be available as their child explores, and then returns to them. Note this circle of security can be developed by either a male or a female caregiver. The sexuality of the caregiver, yet again, is irrelevant. This is how children develop confidence and trust in their caregivers and in turn, come to enjoy secure attachments in adulthood.

I believe Circle of Security theory has stood the test for about 35 years, and is still researched heavily and relied upon by allied health care workers.

Here's an easy one to grasp to start with. Enjoy, and I look forward to your thoughts.
