I'm going to start power walking in the morning after school drop-offs. Now the weather is cooling off. Nothing clears the head like a brisk walk.
So True Sprint.
Besides, I need my hair to keep my head warm in Ballarat.

he might be so determined that these things are a calamity, that that is all he can see.

he's put 'so much' into making it as bad as he can, he can't retrace his steps and do something nice.
that would be saying all his actions of the past year were foolish.
his ego can't accept that

Very sad.
Well hopefully he'll move on now. I've been advised he has a love interest living with him, so perhaps he'll do the right thing by her and himself and all concerned and mend some bridges.
Wallowing in the past does heads in.
Best to look towards building a positive future.
Mum thinks it's possible that he's deliberately sabotaging his chances of having ongoing unsupervised access to our child because he's occupied with his new love interest and multiple female boarders.
Ie, "daddy wants to see u more but can't because of IVO"
Don't know what to make of his actions Sprint, but I'm refusing to over think things.
One things for certain we are looking forward, not behind us.
Can't change the past.

I've decided to contact the CSA and stop child support. It's only a nominal $32 a month or whatever it is he is paying anyway, so no loss.
Why?
To hopefully render him less obligated and contemptuous. Too hard to take.
I'm more than capable of providing for her entirely.
I'm responsible with money, never waste a cent, so no assistance required.
Not for anything.
Her safety and happiness is paramount.

I believe his determination is only exceeded by his desire to convince himself and others that he's given it his best shot. Legal wise.
Some argue that he's being spiteful towards myself, though given his new living arrangements, there's no need.
I'm happy to provide secure access fortnightly.
Egos are costly things. Glad I don't have one.
Centrelink fraud is costly also.
Glad I don't have this conundrum either.
Ni ni all.
Tomorrow is a new day, best leave the past where it is I think.

hi Alinta,
We arrived in June last year and according to locals it was a very warm winter last year, ie, only sleet and slush....no snow, so looking forward to our first proper winter this year.

Haha....a very warm Ballarat winter would still be too cold for me.
Sorry to read about your ongoing legal issues. I cannot fathom your ex partner's reasoning unless he is holding out for withdrawal of the IVO.
