another baby bashed by a person out on bail..
https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/ ... 779ef406e2
A YOUNG man accused of brutally bashing a baby and leaving the child fighting for its life in hospital was out on bail for unrelated charges.
Kelsey Rhodes, 20, is also currently on a 18-month good behaviour bond for common assault and was previously convicted of indecently assaulting a person under the age of 16.
The shocking revelations were contained in documents tendered to court outlining police reasons for refusing Rhodes bail after they arrested him on the weekend.
Rhodes, who appeared before Bankstown Local Court unshaven wearing a blue Lacoste T-shirt and shorts, did not apply for bail and it was formally refused today.
The police also claim they have a strong case against the 20-year-old.
“The accused was the only person with the child when the injuries occurred and those injuries had not been seen out in public when the child was out and about several hours earlier,” the documents said.
The tradie, who works for Winning Appliances installing kitchen devices and machines, was arrested on the weekend after he allegedly left an 18-month-old baby boy with a fractured skull in three places, bleeding on the brain, extensive bruising around his face and ribs, fractured ribs, bleeding from both ears and dislocated spinal discs.
Doctors also found the little boy had been bitten on the right shoulder, bruising to his lower back and that his fraenulum, tissue connective the lip and gum, had been torn.
An X-ray of the little boy’s ribs also uncovered a healed fracture.
As Rhodes was taken from the dock by court sheriffs Rhodes smiled and waved at his parents who were in the public gallery before blowing them a kiss as he taken down to the holding cells.
The little boy was allegedly left alone with Rhodes at a Bankstown unit by his mother late on Saturday night.
When the woman returned home shortly after 11pm neighbours reportedly heard screams and rushed to the home.
An ambulance was called and the boy was taken to Bankstown Hospital and was eventually transferred to the The Children’s Hospital at Westmead where he remains in a critical condition but stable condition.
Following investigations police arrested Rhodes on Sunday charging him with four counts of cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent and three charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Rhodes did not enter a plea to any of the charges during his brief appearance with his lawyer indicating his client would make an application for bail when he is scheduled to appear before Burwood Local Court this Friday.
maybe we could come up with a TATTOO across their forehead..... saying DANGEROUS DO NOT APPROACH..
and it only gets removed when they have passed all tests....

A newborn baby cries 24/7 and it is an irritating and constant irritation. Some babies don't stop crying even when you pick them up and feed them, so I can understand the frustration.
However ... there is no reason to pick the baby up and throw it or shake it or whatever ....
Toddlers are a different thing.

I reckon that you would be easily thrown if you came on too strong to certain parties.BigP wrote:So its ok the shake and throw todlers lolNeferti~ wrote:A newborn baby cries 24/7 and it is an irritating and constant irritation. Mine never did and from 6 weeks old they both slept right through the night. If a baby cries 24/7 there is something wrong. It's either hungry or has colic, or some other problem, and I would seek medical assistance.Neferti~ wrote:A newborn baby cries 24/7

My only child, a girl, was premature. I bought her home when she was 5 pounds ... against the Mater Hospital and my Obstetrician. She slept through at 6 weeks.Black Orchid wrote:Mine never did and from 6 weeks old they both slept right through the night. If a baby cries 24/7 there is something wrong. I was very aware that she was a premmie but she needed MY full attention, which she got. She never had colic and I tried every so-called allergic thing on her. She was walking at 10 months and talking in sentences at 14 months.
She gets her high IQ from both myself and her father.

So fed up with our court's separating family and criminal law proceedings.
Time both court's began talking to one another. We're linked.
