Howard: The Musical

Post by boxy » Sun Nov 15, 2009 1:23 am

Newcastle Theatre Company president Leslie Wiles said that, like the musical Keating!, Dr Tate's play ended with a song. "I think it's a terrific play," she said. "It seems to whip along, and it covers all of the major points that happen throughout his ascendancy and decline, so I think it will have great appeal and it will be great to see what the audience feedback is."

Ms Wiles said if the play was accepted by the company it would form part of its 2011 season.
"But you will run your fluffy bunny mouth at me. And I will take it, to play poker."

In the great tradition of musicals I am plagerizing Cats for the Howard musical.

The greatest politicians have something to learn
From Mister Howard’s conjuring turn
And you'll all say

Oh! Well I never was there ever
A cat so clever as magical Mr. Howard

He is quiet, he is small, he is boring
From the ears to the tip of his tail
He can creep through the tiniest election crack
He can walk on the narrowest track

He can pick any policy from any pack
He is equally cunning with tax
He is always deceiving you into believing
That he's only hunting for you

You have seen him one decade and then he is gone!
Oh! Well I never was there ever
A cat so clever as magical Mr. Howard
DEEEEEEEEPTHOUGHT IS EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!
