North Korea has been shipping supplies to the Syrian government that could be used in the production of chemical weapons, United Nations experts contend.
The evidence of a North Korean connection comes as the United States and other countries have accused the Syrian government of using chemical weapons on civilians, including recent attacks on civilians in the Damascus suburb of eastern Ghouta using what appears to have been chlorine gas.
The supplies from North Korea include acid-resistant tiles, valves and thermometers, according to a report by United Nations investigators. North Korean missile technicians have also been spotted working at known chemical weapons and missile facilities inside Syria, according to the report, which was written by a panel of experts who looked at North Korea’s compliance with United Nations sanctions.
The report highlights the potential danger posed by any such trade between Syria and North Korea, which could allow Syria to maintain its chemical weapons while also providing North Korea with cash for its nuclear and missile programs.

President Trump declared a foreign policy victory yesterday after Kim Jong-un voiced his commitment to denuclearising North Korea on a surprise visit to Beijing.
Mr Trump, who is due to have his own meeting with Mr Kim in May, claimed that the secret visit to Beijing was the result of his pressure on the leader of the isolated state to give up its nuclear weapons. He boasted of the “good chance” that Mr Kim would do “what is right for his people and for humanity”.
Sarah Sanders, the White House spokeswoman, told reporters last night that Mr Kim’s visit was “a good indication that the maximum pressure campaign has been working”.
If this is true then Trump has made a real difference with his tough talk stance.

THis was always Kims master plan, spend all your money on misiles and Nuc's then use that as leverage to loosen sanctions on North Korea

Yes, I agree. A good strategy.
He needs to save face.... if the outcome is he comes in from the cold and they drop the nukes... well good on them. Time for his people to join the rest of the world.

IF ANYONE drops nukes ... isn't that the End of The World? Can they direct them to certain countries?
I mean, I get really antsy when "they" say that a meteor is about to land on earth ... or that the Sky is Falling .....

I hate to tell you this but a meteor is not in the same category as multiple countries shooting off nukes. Not even close.
