Right! So what brought that on? The born again thing? Do you want to discuss? Not necessary and sorry if you think I am being rude ... just wondered.

You are not being rude.
hhhmm, Spiritual experiences bought it on. A very good Pentecostal church helped.
My experiences of Jesus was not the first time anyone had experienced Jesus.
Many people will tell you essentially the same story.
He is a game changer.

Namaste

Can it make you more spiritual than a Buddhist monk or someone who worships Hindu gods?

Congratulations Bobby.
You have asked me the hardest question about my Christianity ever.

I can only speak from my experiences.
My experiences come from an external source.
It made me realise how sinful and flawed I am.
Even on my best day and best efforts.

As I read through my Bible myself various verses are 'impressed upon me'
This is one .......

' ........ All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;
we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. .......... '

Isaiah 64:6

' ........ all our righteous acts are like filthy rags ........ '

So if I think my good deeds are good, well, think again.

I'd like a God who doesn't make me feel like a bad person.

Yes.
Yes, I made bad decisions and done bad things. I still do.
I felt that I had been deceived.

It was a relief to know that whatever good deed I did was not going to be enough.
I don't have to try to work my way into heaven by my own efforts. That is never going to succeed.
How could anyone ever do that ?

Luke 23: KJV

[28] But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

[29] For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

[30] Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

[31] For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

I wept because I was lost but had been found.

dear Sprint,
I challenge thee to go out tonight and look at the Milky Way.
You live on the Orion Arm of the Milky Way galaxy.

And it's something quite peculiar
Something shimmering and white
Leads you here despite your destination
Under the Milky Way tonight
