She wants to get voted back in tomorrow
but she was the one who cut the police numbers!
Since Theresa May became home secretary in 2010 the number of police officers has fallen by 21,500

Police numbers, including the number of armed police officers, have fallen sharply under Theresa May’s watch first as home secretary between 2010 and 2016 and then as prime minister.
The simple numbers tell the story. In 2010 May as home secretary made the mistake that Margaret Thatcher never made in the 1980s and agreed to a Treasury demand to cut police budgets by 18%.
Over the next five years the number of police officers in England and Wales fell from a peak of 144,353 in 2009 to 122,859 in 2016. At the same time the number of specialist armed police officers has fallen from a peak of 6,796 in 2010 to 5,639 in 2016.
As the graph shows it would appear to be an open and shut case that cuts in police officer numbers have had an impact on the capacity of the police to respond.

She gave 21,500 people the sack -
now I hope the people give her the sack.
She's a Tory by the way - typical right winger.

If Labour get in, it is the end of the UK.
What a disaster it will be. Corbyn is a complete communist. It will wreck the UK for ever. So NO.
However in these times it is stupid to cut the police force.
Imagine a Britain with Corbyn in charge
You won’t be able to understand what a Corbyn government might do unless you realise the team around Mr Corbyn are not merely the usual left of the Labour Party. These are people who have sent messages of solidarity to North Korea, saluted the IRA dead and bigged up Chavez’s Venezuela. They are allied to far-left groups. They are committed to a non-aligned foreign policy, regarding western liberalism as nothing special and our alliances as disastrous. They have opposed all terror laws, believing the right answer is to understand the root causes, which lie in our own imperialist adventures.

Hardly surprising those failing to do what they're paid for are laid off.
A recent op-ed in the Australian posed the question that in light of Victorian police failing to do their jobs in relation to unionist blocking the gates of Melbourne's biggest port, and pretending there is no African youth gang problem in Victoria, should Victoria get a privatised police force like parts of Britain have? .. which so far has proven far more effective in all policing aspects (except traffic control) than the government run police force, from crime prevention and detective work on murders.
In some of my weaker moments I've said "I'll get drunk in celebration the days coppers are replaced by robots" ... and they'll all go on the dole because they won't work .... they've given up trying to put under cover Ds into fruit picking crews because they too unfit. So blackmail pickers busted for drug related matters into becoming informants.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
