The skaters just missed out. Pity. They put on a good show. Being one of the first to perform never seems to end well.

Snowboard cross was brilliant. Such a shame for Alex (Chumpy) Pullin who crashed in the final but still came 6th overall.

Well done to Jarryd Hughes only 22 and, after 5 knee operations, claimed silver!!

Just watching Gus Kenworthy skiing in the slopestyle for the USA. When Sochi mandated to exterminate all stray dogs ahead of the 2014 winter Olympics, Kenworthy pledged to try to save the dogs. He even took as many as he could back to the US.

He competed at Sochi and won silver. What a nice guy! I hope he gets another medal.

they should give one of those puppies to the losers...

that would cheer them up...

Australia would end up with heaps of them though... :?

LOL An American friend sent these pictures of his wife "re-doing the national olympics" ... with an ironing board? She is a real "card" loves to dress up (with wigs etc) and muck about. :rofl :rofl :rofl

It's not so much that you win in a lot of these winter sports. It's that the other people crash and burn. Think Stephen Bradbury.

David Morris is competing in the aerial finals tonight and I watched him last night and he is great. Let's hope he lands on his feet.

Shame for David Morris our aerial skier. He did the exact same jump as the Chinese guy and The Chinese guy really botched his landing big time and they marked the Chinese guy up and Morris down? It was supposedly out of the 4 metre zone but still.

I think that was really unfair. The Chinese guy ended up with Silver instead of Gold and was really peed off as he was sure he had got the Gold and you could see the anger in his face. He was livid.

Ukraine got the Gold
