dear Lisa,
resting was not on for me:
I have guests over for Xmas dinner so I had to spend 3 hours doing all the whipper snipping on the fence lines etc & mowing the lawns -
then 6 hours , vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning the stove, cleaning the toilet, bathroom, bench tops, table , chairs etc.
Then when I was finished I realised my car was covered in bird shit so I had to wash that too - LOL.
merry Xmas.

Glad you had a great Christmas, Super Nova and that your little daughter got lots of stuff from Santa!
My grand daughters never had Santa. My SIL doesn't believe in Christmas. My daughter had Santa when she was little and remembers the excitement. So, in 2007, I bought a Christmas tree and lots of presents for the kids. They were so excited to come over here (before breakfast) and open all the presents!
I have continued this "tradition" and finally my SIL is allowing the kids to get some gifts, which they open after they have been to my house!
That's the extent of my Christmas Day. I am used to it now. Christmas lost interest for me when my Mother died in January 1993. I used to drive down to her on Christmas morning (in time for lunch). I have never actually cooked a Christmas Roast... how's that?

You won't get fed at my place, mate, plus you have to bring your own beer (and food, if you want anything to eat). Oh, and I don't have a recliner.

Do they make "double" recliners?
