New One Nation senator quits party

[highlight]Fraser Anning has sensationally quit One Nation before taking his place in the Senate, abandoning the party to sit as an independent.[/highlight]

Senator Anning was sworn in on Monday, flanked by crossbench senators David Leyonhjelm and Cory Bernardi, rather than One Nation leader Pauline Hanson or the party's other senators.

Senator Hanson revealed he left the party after his swearing-in, saying he would stand as an independent until "something else came along".

I have said this before when PUP had the same thing happen..

wrong wrong wrong..

thats not why this person was elected...

its wrong red....they are getting in on someones shirt tail then jumping ship...but still keeping their job..

doesnt happen anywhere else....

we shouldnt have to put up with it.

It just confirms in my mind the fact that One Nation is a rabble of amateur wannabee politicians with no proper party structure, policies or ethics.

There should be a by-election and Pauline can put up an other candidate and he can run as an Independent. I wouldn't like his chances when he isn't running on her coat tails.

FFS this tool couldn't even last a day as a ON Senator!

Not to mention Bernardi who was a six year Senator of the Liberal variety! (Top of the Libs voting ticket and he betrays them like this)
