Although flies seem to be dwindling over the past few summers they are a huge problem here in the hotter months and who wants them buzzing around inside their homes?

Filthy things!
very true they are clearing all the farm land and building brick boxes instead....but it does keep the flies down then we have the mossies at night...which can bother me more...I am over all that indoor outdoor stuff... if theres a BBQ which I adore I sit inside..lolol..

as for the block agree with you on the Ronnie and Georgia they are the pits...sheeeeze wouldnt want them for neighbours...I do hope the boys do well at the auction...a lot of themselves has gone into their house...as for Jason I cant believe Sarah hasnt kicked him to the kerb....everything almost has been done by the tradies...they really do not deserve any credit or money for that matter Sarah whinges all the time about how hard they have worked... but by the way those boys work..Jas and Sarah are on holiday....it would be good to go in them when they open them though.....

Jason is not only lazy but he appears to be a second rate and hopeless plumber. He can't even waterproof properly. Plus he is a dobber and always looking for ways to hinder the others. He is a complete jerk and Sarah looks down and out and dejected all the time.

God what a hopeless and depressing pair. They deserve each other.

I feel a bit cheated by the show to be honest..

but to claim they only have two days left and not a thing done only to have it all spick and span on the day

kind of erks me.. I would prefer them to be more honest..I mean they all claim they have no money so no overtime for the tradies..

how does it all happen???>.... not a speck of dust to be seen...

the show cannot leave a house unfinished. They expect to sell them for $3m+ and the producers just aren't going to walk away from sort of money

I was watching one of those "moving abroad" programs on the Lifestyle Channel ....in Florida they have a screen called a LANAI, which we could easily replicate in Australia so that you have the outdoor living, minus the mozzies and flies!!

I was responding to Black Orchid's post and picture of "outdoor living" and flies. ;)

In fact, I think I even began a thread here entitled something like "I saw a fly" .... we don't get any at my place even in Summer.

Regardless of their garage I don't think Ronnie and Georgia deserved that last win. Their room was not the best, in my opinion it wasn't even close, and their plumbing was not even hooked up. Shayna is biased towards them for sure and pushed them over the line. Stupid woman!

I have a friend who loves Ronnie and Georgia and hates Elyse and Josh and she texts me constantly during the show. I feel like screaming ARGHH!! I am just so GLAD we are not watching it together :rofl

but you can't ignore the garages, they were a big part of the zones they were required to complete.

If anyone else had done anything at all in the garages, they probably would have won. Ronnie and Giorgias room was crap. HOWEVER they styled all the zones. Everyone else styled upstairs but did nothing in the garages. Even if they had put a simple workbench and tool cabinet in one of the garages it would have shown that they gave it some thought.

Of all the upstairs area, I think that Sticks and Wombat had the best space by far.

Although If it was me I would have done it different. I thought that space would be an ideal rumpus/games room with perhaps a bar. And one of those beds that fold away into a cupboard for guests. $3 millions dollar properties the owners usually want some sort of games room.
