Petition to alter the constituion

This petition is to remove the following line from the constitution.
All petitions remain active until they succeed or the current exalted leader is replaced with someone else
It shall be replaced with
All petitions are only active for a set time frame. Petitions may be closed off after 1 week if there is no votes recorded in the affirmative for the petition other than the author. A petition will be deemed unsuccessful and closed after 3 weeks if the magic number is more than 2 votes away from being reached. If the magic number is within 2 votes after the 3 week limitation, the petition will be extended to 4 weeks and then closed off if the MN is still not reached.
