Interest rates....

.....will fall tomorrow, despite all the shallow wailing of those on the right that Rudd would oversee rises. For the first time in seven years, the rates will drop, and Rudd is at the helm.

Yo, ho, ho, and a bottle of Rum!

And while all the other institutions - even the spawn of Satan that is the major banks - are lowering their interest rates, my credit union has just advised it's putting mine up.

Time for a change. Members' Equity here I come!

Nup - Members' Equity is the union bank. They have an excellent reputation.

I recommend Members Equity.

Don't bother with those people who act as an agent and say they'll find the best bank for you, like Aussie. They leave out all the best deals, like ME, because ME doesn't pay commissions.

Thanks FD. Got an email from my current one saying the rates were going up in Oct and down on 5 Sept. WTF?

Anyway, when I get back from Noosa I'll be changing. Seeing as how I'm now a union official. :P

Yep, fully-accredited thug and council member. I have heard nothing but good about ME.

Congratulations Hebe. Godo to see the banks passing on cuts to at least housing borrowers aussie. Bit surprising too, given what they have eben saying but I guess you just have to look at their profits to see they can afford it.
