OK there is only one nation that currently has COMBAT OPERATIONAL Direct Energy Weapons and that is the United States,

The U.S. has an operational LASER upon the USS Pounce as well the U.S. Navy is deploying what will be 100 Megawatt FEL's or FREE ELECTRON LASERS aboard every Carrier and Ticonderoga Class Cruiser.

The U.S. Military also is deploying the MEB or Microwave Emissions Beam as well as the U.S. already has several secret Land Based Particle Weapons online.

As far as Hypersonic Missiles the United States Military has ALREADY DEMONSTRATED it's capability to destroy incoming Hyper-sonic Missiles and here is a LINK to a VIDEO showing the USS. Lake Erie a Ticonderoga Class Aegis Cruiser destroying a failing Satellite at ORBITAL DISTANCE traveling at well over Hyper-Sonic velocities.

And just so members know the SM-3 AA/ABM/ASAT that was launched off the USS Lake Erie was directed to ONLY target and destroy JUST the Football sized HYDRAZINE TANK that was a part of that satellite.

Over the next 7 years the U.S. Navy will begin deploying the FEL or Free Electron Laser System aboard at first the new Ford Class Supercarriers being the CVN-78 Gerald R. Ford....the CVN-79 J.F.K.....and the CVN-80 Enterprise.

These new USN. Stealth Supercarriers not only have a Mag-Lev Aircraft Launch System but as well their 2 new A1B Nuclear Fission Reactors each generating over 300 Megawatts of power for a total of over 600 Megawatts of electrical power per carrier give the carriers all the power they need to power the ship, power the Mag-Lev aircraft Launcher as well as power the Free Electron Laser System.

The Free Electron Laser is NOT effected by atmospheric problems as the lasers frequency can be altered thus cloud cover does NOT interfere with the FEL's ability to destroy anything in space, air, underwater or on land.

A WORLDWIDE GLOBAL SATELLITE TARGETING NETWORK will be launched and since the FEL is much too powerful for standard laser optics as mirrors just VAPORIZE when encountering an FEL Beam as it exists at SOLAR CORE TEMPS.....The U.S. is using Prism Compound Optics in a manner similar to Insect Eyes.
