Obama introduced a bill as a senator to implement preferential voting. If he could get the US moving a bit faster on that issue, that alone would make him a great president.

Bit amused to see that Palin's 17-year-old daughter is up the duff. Of course, she's going to keep it AND get married. What a saint. Don't they have condoms in Alaska - or do they freeze before you can get them on?

You can’t use condoms in Alaska, they freeze on a north pole.

Still, I hope the Dems treat the issue as patronizing as the blogs are, I can hear that whooshe of heartland American women to Mac.

I must add however that Obama himself is smart enough to NOT to play on this saying “families are off limits, my mother had me when she was 18.”

She is quite the Anti-Hilary. That speech she delivered (as opposed to wrote) was clever. She is a nobody with stuff in the boot, and Hilary is all powerful with just Bill as drag. (Yeah, I reckon this bird was offered the job a while ago.......maybe.)

Smart tactical/political move. She will pick up the offended female vote, now that Hilary is not there.

I reckon she is a vote winner, but....

Does anyone remember how LBJ became President?

McCain is so old, he could be Methuselah's Son, and if he checks out, as he could any time now, this chick is Queen.

Now, that is scary.

What kind of place does she think America is? Does she really think it will draw American voters to brand herself as a pit bull wearing lip-stick?

Yep, I'd say she has it pegged.

Both Palin and Mac’s speeches got bigger viewing audiences than Obama and Plain’s speech has electrified the Republican base who looked like they might sit it out.

The polls are even again.

Though not a great speaker I like what Mac said, he basically told his own party they have lost the trust of the American people and need to change. (This is something the guru of change Obama has NEVER done; take on his own party, even when he was in the corrupt Daily Chicago Machine.)

Palin bolsters this claim for reform has she ran against a fellow Republican governor and took on her own party’s corruption, including powerful Senator Stevens.

Dems generically are polling about 15% higher than republicans but Obama keeps falling back to even, in a year that should be a Democratic landslide Mac is really making this a fight.

And given the smear campaign the Dems are running, even though the major premise of Obama's campaign is that he is above all that, reveals just how terrified of this women they are.
