Every day is getting closer to war.
Well Fat Kimmy does need putting in his place but if that does eventuate,
and I think it will, I also think it will be fast, furious and as 'clean' as any war ever can be.
I hope so Orchid - and I hope the Chinese don't get involved.
The Chinese said they would help North Korea if the Yanks attacked them first.

Remember Pearl Harbor -
after years of sanctions on Japan for their invasion of China -
Japan finally hit back at the Yanks.
That allowed the Japs to get the raw materials that the sanctions denied them.
Will we see history repeat as NK gets more desperate?

Saddam's guards abandoned him and he went and hid in a hole in the ground,

We still got him.

Then you hanged him ON TV! I could NOT watch that! Regardless of what Saddam did ... it still haunts me. Un-bloody-believable!
We didn't do that the Iraqi people did that.

Besides if you had seen what I have you would know hanging was too easy an out for Saddam.

Whatever! You let the Iraqis deal with him. There were pictures of Saddam, after he was caught (didn't the USA catch him?) having his mouth swabbed, then CNN or whatever showed the hanging on our TV News in FULL COLOUR. Disgusting. Regardless of who Saddam was,or what he had done .... recording him being hanged ....

What should the US have "advised" the Iraqis to do? Water torture? Bullet in head? Stung up by the gonads and left for days? The US is known for VIOLENCE .... and as I like to say, gun in one hand, Bible in the other.

There is NO HEAVEN OR HELL and you therefore won't see Saddam or Bin Laden waiting for you.

Personally I don't give a damn what happened to Saddam. He was a cruel and vicious despot. Too bad for him.

If you take that tack and make these cretins into martyrs and hold the USA constantly responsible we are all doomed.

It was ONLY MY OPINION.

History shows that Saddam was the man for the job, not everyone in Iraq was happy with his removal. The US did not make a mistake in terms of the WMD as a pretext for his removal, it was manufactured

Some people were not happy with his removal? Tell that to the tens of thousands he killed, maimed and tortured with chemical and biological weapons.

When I was young I thought this guy was "sexy"

I even thought that these guys had something "magnetic" about them.

I knew absolutely NOTHING about their politics ... I still don't.
