Aussies on the internet are a different breed, Warrior, and totally different to American forums. If they don't understand something they try to pull it apart. Aussies are the masters of "tall poppy syndrome". If criticism, ad homs and ridicule do not work they turn to constant bickering, trolling, gossiping and fighting. You will notice that no knowledge, intelligence or facts are ever imparted from these types though.
It's embarrassing to most sane people but it is what it is. Most Aussie forums are the same.
Yeah I am starting to understand this.
In the U.S. agencies like in Langley have several million people on their payroll as well so does the NSA.
Every single American Family has a family member who is either in the U.S. Military or who has most likely already seen action.
The United States has been in a perpetual state of WAR since 9/11/2001 and it is NOT going to end anytime soon.
Thus American Families all have or know someone who is Military or Agency or DIA or part of SOCOM...etc.
I guess I can understand how a small population nation like Australia and please understand I like Aussie's very much.....would simply not have the experience or understanding to KNOW this is an every day REALITY for American's and YES we very much are a Militaristic Society and Nation.
I guess for Aussie's such a thing to them is more TV Fantasy but I assure members to us.....it is a part of every day life.
There are thousands upon thousands of U.S. Military Bases in the United States and the communities around them support them very much as the men and women who are stationed there are our Mothers and Fathers....Sn's and Daughters....and we do our best to support them.
As well there are over 1000 U.S. Military Bases around the world.
Your right Black Orchid.....some Aussies just cannot understand.
Warrior.
