U.S. gives world ultimatum.
Well I KNEW this was coming and it is about time!!
The United States has told the world......IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH NORTH KOREA YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THE UNITED STATES!!
President Trump has given the U.S. Treasury unprecedented power to sanction any nation, company, bank, group or individual who does business with North Korea.
As well any ship that sails into North Korea will NOT be allowed to enter any American port for at least 180 days.
Trump called the Chinese before telling the world about the new U.S. policy and the Chinese understanding that their economy is dependent upon exports to the worlds largest economy and worlds largest consumer nation being the U.S......well the Chinese leader ordered all Chinese Banks to CEASE DOING ANY AND ALL BUSINESS WITH NORTH KOREA!!!
THANK GOD!!!

Re: U.S. gives world ultimatum.
Even though I am happy that China finally...."GET'S IT."......it is sad it took them this long to order all their banks to stop doing business with North Korea.
The reality is if China had refused to do this and if the U.S. Treasury following the new laws to sanction any and all nations, businesses, banks, groups or individuals by not allowing them to trade or do business with the United States if they did business with North Korea.....well if we had to sanction China the fact would be the entire Chinese economy would have collapsed in a week.
The Chinese Economy is completely dependent upon it's export profits from export sales to the U.S. and the thing is NOTHING that we get from China is necessary.
NOTHING!!
China understanding that time was up smartly decided to sanction North Korea by no longer allowing Chinese Banks to do business with the rouge nation and if this does not work I am afraid the Military option will have to be used.

LOL!!!!
You got that right!!!!
The stuff we import from China is all cheap CRAP!!!
However China NEEDS very much what they buy from the U.S. such as COAL, NATURAL GAS.....and now OIL as in case Aussie's do not know the U.S. is the worlds largest producer of Oil, Coal and Natural Gas as well we are also the worlds largest EXPORTER of Coal, Natural Gas and by 2023 Oil as well.
The thing is the United States holds more oil reserves than every single nation on Earth put together.
The oil has always been here but it took over 100 years of technological development to be able to get to it.
A recent oil discovery in Colorado is at over 2 TRILLION BARRELS OF OIL which is MORE OIL THAN HAS EVER BEEN BURNED IN HUMAN HISTORY!!
The total estimated Oil Reserves in the U.S. is between 7.8 Trillion to 14.3 Trillion barrels.
China has very little energy resources and will become an ever increasing customer of the U.S.

China sells its junk to pretty much everyone, so while I'm sure U$A supports a large chunk of their economy, I'm doubtful they are "completely dependent upon" the American consumer.Warrior wrote: The Chinese Economy is completely dependent upon it's export profits from export sales to the U.S.
Close, but not perfect. Several years ago the Pentagon admonished the US govt for a strategic blunder in allowing China to have a monopoly on neodymium.Warrior wrote: ... and the thing is NOTHING that we get from China is necessary.
Neodymium is a rare earth (that the Yanks discovered) and is required for the currently strong permanent magnets [neodymium, iron, boron alloy].
These magnets are what allows much of our current technology to function properly - even in jet engines.
At the time (of Pentagon's complaint) China had all the neodymium mines on Earth. So the US govt reopened one in California which greenies had shut down due to a previous contamination mishap.
So while the US is not dependent on China for neodymium, the US still gets most of this stuff for its magnets from China.
Hopefully someone will have a word in Trump's ear, because if/when projectiles are exchanged or a trade war gets going, U$A will need to reopen numerous rare earth mines for itself and strategic allies.
If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Reasonable point. China is known for its duplicitous lack of morals, ethics and scruples.762NATO wrote:Do you clowns honestly believe that these assurances from China will come to fruition,

They have given NK 120 days to pack their shit and close their Chinese based businesses
they are laughing at the UN US and everyone in between. Anyone believes this will change NKs current trajectory is pulling themselves, even special teams CIA operatives with big beards and University degrees
