If you haven't noticed, Australia, like Great Britain and a host of other countries have what is colloquially called "we aren't a fucking republic with a 2nd amendment" while the US has "Lets go people! The 3 year alarm clock has just gone off. It's time to throw out the disarmament red herring again while we focus on weaponising the beauracracy like the ATO. Its way more effective at wiping out our enemies. I hope these numpties never wake up and realise that we have more guns than people and couldn't get rid of them even if 100% of voters wanted it."

You know every year both Russia and before it the Soviet Union as well as China put out their Military Risk Assessment of North America.

Neither nation just lists the U.S. as the U.S. and Canada have a single integrated Military thus NORAD and there are Canadian/American Military bases all over Canada.

Anyways every year both Russia and China's reports list it as IMPOSSIBLE to successfully invade North America.

The reasons they list include of course how impossible it would be to get past the U.S. Navy and Military and the fact that North America is surrounded by 3 large oceans as far as the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic oceans......but both Russia and China ALWAYS list this one thing as an impossible obstacle....

They both state that due to North American's having the heaviest armed population on the planet it would be impossible to defeat such a well armed population.

I have never seen a hand gun less alone held one.
Farmers have guns but City folk don't need one. The only people in Australia who have guns are the criminals.

Well they didn't disarm me, so I'm under near constant surveillance .... must be worried I'll go back to Sydney and shoot up a mosque or start a 1 man militia or something. Although I have had 3 firearms confiscated (Stirling M20 .22 cut down with shell catcher, home made silencer, laser sight and painted matt black, 8 shot Mossberg 590 12g pump, and Ruger 10/22 with Gold Star silencer) and 4 stolen.

Y'know, I shoulda been a Yank ... seein' as I used to ride Harleys (86 FXR and 77 XLCR 1000) drool over 76 to current Corvettes and love peanut butter and honey sandwiches. ... Oh yeah, plus have an arsenal as big as I like and the snow flakes can chew my bullet casings.
