I was in South Korea not long ago and I can tell you that if FAT BOY makes the mistake of launching a missile that we determine might be headed close to the U.S. or a U.S. Territory or Australia or one of our Allies we have military options that would wipe Fat Kim's regime from the face of the planet.

Of course it is unfortunate the South Korean's decided to build a metropolis of Seoul that extends within artillery range of the North but this issue cannot continue.

I totally support the USA blowing the little bastard off the map I don't see any other option, the sooner the better. I've rebooked for July next year I hope he and his regime is nothing but a memory by then.

Sorry that you have postponed your Japanese trip, Skip. I would had done the same at this time. I don't talk "politics" with my Japanese email friend, so no idea what he thinks. Better safe than sorry, though!

The trouble is that Kim Jong-Un has a sting in the tail.
Some of his missiles might get through with nuclear warheads on them.
We just don't know how sophisticated the weapons are & exactly what range.
Not only that - the real war could be with his submarines able to use a mini sub to deliver
a nuclear weapon into any port in the world.
There was some report I read about 2 months ago of the USA sending
anti-sub aeroplanes all down their west coast looking for NK subs.
It's the war under the sea that I worry about.

That last detonation was 170 Kilotons - that's enormous - 14 times bigger than Hiroshima -
& although he might not be able to put that on a missile
it would fit inside a mini sub with inertial guidance & a timer.
The fact is he does have at least one powerful nuclear weapon & he has over 70 subs.

It's dangerous now to take him on but it will be a lot more dangerous in say 2 years time.
