When my gasoline powered lawn mower dies, I will never get another one. Instead, I am getting one of these:

That is a very good idea.

I am thinking the 'Ryobi' brand is not as good as it was.

I think most of the brands are now selling cheaply made versions.

I used to be a massive fan of Hitachi tools as they were real tradie quality, but even they sell cheaper made tools now with lower wattage motors etc.

So what is that mower battery powered or something?

Redneck - yes, I think Makita is still good.
Milwaukee and DeWalk look 'fully priced'.

Cods - do you have a signed permission form by a Real Man to permit you to post here ? ;)

I know several females who mow the lawn because their males (son, husband, partner) are "allergic to grass". What a good excuse!!! :rofl :rofl

I bet an electric mower would never go through couch grass over gutters?

I had to use a branch lopper to cut through it -
it was like rope - even a petrol motor mower wouldn't touch it.
