Rightys= let everyone have a say.
Leftys= Nazi fucks.
Why are you afraid to make the pleb binding?

Same reason Lib votes are always conscience votes, unlike the BaaaaALP who squibbed it because the confusion would have the numpties heads exploding if they had to think for themselves.

says a lot that the libs votes are always conscience votes ....EXCEPT in this case. Don't you think?

There is no exception. All lib votes are conscience votes.
All ALP are forced collective votes.
Lefties squibbed it for SSM because they wanted to play politics.

yeah ... except...
... If you're in the ALP
Lefty's will duck, slither, slime and twist yourselves into knots trying to squirm out of looking like what even gays know they are doing. Everyone is looking down at you lot playing politics with SSM and crawling in the mud claiming the high moral ground that is so far beyond your reach, you're a fucking laughing stock.

and yet every single poll for almost the last decade has shown that the majority of people think gays should be allowed to marry.

No, only the selective surveys come out with a pro gay marriage result.
All the real polls say no, nine, nyit, non, not phuking on.
If the polls DID as you claim consistently give a result of support, the queers and ALP would support the plebiscite.
It's that simple.
rubbish. Not supporting the pleb has nothing to do with it. The pleb is a $50m waste of money. Several MP's have already said they'll vote NO regardless of the pleb result. If that's going to be the case, why waste money on the pleb? Make it legally binding and labor has said they will support it, otherwise, better to put the money elsewhere. What is the no camp so afraid of that they won't make the result binding?
Opposing the plebiscite has EVERYTHING to do with it.
You claim poll results give a pro gay marriage result, yet the current govt ran the gay marriage plebiscite as part of their election platform and got elected. The people have spoken - they want the plebiscite, so they can vote No!.
If pollies make gay marriage legal, there's nothing for future pollies to re-criminalise homosexuality itself.
It's cold up here lately ... throw another fag on the fire

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Where did this figure of $50 million come from for a plebiscite that John Smith keeps mentioning?
Can't the question of Yes/No to homosexual marriage just be added to the next Federal Election? Isn't that what happened when we voted to change the National Anthem?

Yes/No question should have been added at the last election.

Last Election, I voted "informal" ... in other words, I got my name marked off the Rolls, went to the booth and wrote "NO TURNCOATS" on the ballot paper.
Didn't we get to vote Yes/No about the Republic thing at a Federal Election?

I don't recall doing that but, then again, I was not listed on the Electoral Roll for many years

Sydney is rather slack that way.

I was "unlisted" for many years and was glad. Moved to Canberra and again I was unlisted ... now you can check online.
Fine of $20 is ridiculous. Last time I sent off a cheque. Next time I will ignore their threats of "Legal" to recover 20 bucks? Rubbish.
