While I think this guy is worthy of 110% scumbag watch I feel the system is the scumbag worthy of note.

Just because this girl maybe was sleeping around it doesn't give the adult an excuse. Scumbag.

Convicted paedophile walks free after molesting girl inside Gold Coast home

The family of a nine-year-old girl is demanding answers after the Gold Coast man who molested her walked free without serving a day in prison.
Peter Andrews, 64, used video games and a dog to lure the girl to his home, where he sexually abused her.
He was found guilty of indecent treatment of a child but was released from prison with a suspended sentence after telling the court he has terminal cancer.

Mr Andrews’ wife, Heiki, recently told the victim’s grandmother, who cannot be identified, it was the child and her family’s “fault” for her husband’s behaviour.

“Because you're negligent parents, her parents didn't care. That's why she used to come over and stay,” Mrs Andrews said.

“She's a s--- at 14 sleeping around, did she learn that off you?”

Mrs Andrews threatened to call police when 9NEWS questioned her about her comments today.
“It has nothing to do with me. F--- off.”

The victim’s grandparents said Mrs Andrews’ words were “absolutely unbelievable” and that Mr Andrews was a “not a man,” but “an animal.”
The family is now dropping off pamphlets to warn other young families about Mr Andrews, who often lives just metres from a Southport childcare centre.

“If I had little kids I'd be locking my door,” a local woman said

does that mean NSW police weren't even aware that the incident took place until Victorian police told them about the pornographic material? If so what were the babies parents doing? How can you not notice a 10 month old has been raped? It's bound to leave her damaged isn't it?

As to the parents noticing, it does depend to what type of rape and if there was penetration. But yes, where are the parents in the story. I bet he was a family friend or member (uncle of something)

I have read and spoken to someone over dinner that was/is a counselor and it is now a demonstrated fact these type of people cannot be reformed. What do we do with them. I say either kill them, (rats would be good) or they are locked up for life, and I mean life or like Clockwork Orange, chemically castrate them as a minimum with a long sentence so they are physically reformed.

I think the only options are to
1 kill those found to be guilty.
2 give those willing to admit they are attracted to children have the option of castration before they act on their impulses.
If they are found to be guilty of acting on their impulses molesting children it's the death penalty.
