I don't care what she had. Some people need to stop acting so precious. SHe was feeding a baby, the most innocent and most beautiful thing a woman can do. I love a set of tits as much, or more, than the next guy, but anyone who see's a mum breastfeeding her kids and thinks of anything other than what it is, needs to see a shrink

firstly ... nothing special about parliament. Have you watched question time? There's a lot worse on there than someone breastfeeding

Secondly, so what if she stood up to talk? She was covered. If she can do it while breastfeeding, good on her. Why should she hide? My son used to take 2 hours on the breast, and even after all that time he got very little. By the time he finished he had an hour nap and then woke up and had to start again because he was already hungry. ... if his mum stopped doing everything while waiting for him to finish she'd still be waiting to get out of her pyjamas in the PM.

Yes, I have watched QT ... it is a bun fight put on by a bunch of blokes, mostly, getting their 2 minutes of TV cover .... I have also watched the ENTIRE sitting of Parliament (and the Senate) where the Ministers/Senators are nice to each other and actually DEBATE stuff ...

IF all you have ever watched on TV is Question Time, you are very lacking in experience of what Parliament is all about. Shouting ABUSE at the opposition is how people here at OzPol think because that is ALL they have seen on Question Time. IF you get the chance, watch the entire Sitting of Parliament sessions (ABC has them, I watch APAC on Foxtel). You might be surprised how polite and so forth they are when the TV camera isn't on them!

WE females who have given BIRTH to babies, know all about feeding them. IF your son took 2 bloody hours to suck ... your wife should NOT have put herself through that torture. He should have been put on "formula" ... and restricted to 4 hourly feeds!

She was determined to try and make it work with him being the first and the pressure put on women to breastfeed these days. He was eventually put onto formula. Funnily enough, he never suffered for it so he must have gotten enough. He was always topping or exceeding the growth charts.
