Facebook :-(
Has anyone noticed that Facebook is now just filling up the page with ads... lots of them.
This is a real turn off.
I never liked Facebook and only use it to connect with family but it is now so full of ads it is unpleasant to use.
Does any here spend much time on FB. what do you really use it for?

Always remember what you post, send or do on the internet is not private and you are responsible.

Re: Facebook :-(
I only use it to catch up and see what friends are doing and to look at the pics!!
But, yes, the ads are atrocious. If I have been on Ebay or looking at products online and I then get a steady stream of ads for that particular item on Facebook and it is extremely irritating.
I am also flooded with "people you might like to add" and I have no clue who they are, they aren't even friends of friends or in the same state or country.
I am going there less and less because of it.

I like the Message function for friends that are far off. Each time you look at FB, or your smartphone for that matter, your brain gets a hit of dopamine. I feel sorry for generations yet to come that will have no idea what life was like before the internet.

.I read somewhere where they believe these things will eventually be the main cause of relationship breakdowns....
young folks will only text in broken english..... and become more and more rude.....
the technology is going to do tremendous harm in more ways than they know...in another 25 years people will be walking with heads bent.. everyone looking down.......curvature of the neck...its on the cards.....as well as walking into things..crossing roads without looking...
I think its why they have invented the driverless car... so people dont miss a call and bring on panic attacks..

I don't use FB the way many people do ie posting up my every move, intent or what I eat but I do fear for the younger generation. We are breeding an anti social generation and that has to impact their lives somewhere down the line.

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?
