Bad/sad news crew ... my little mate Red Fred is dead.

Saturday (29/4/17) morning I walked the dogs upto the letter box/road, like I do every morning, evening or both.
An old bloke who has a cattle lease on the state forest behind my block and accesses via a neighbouring block
(access up my western boundary washed out at creek crossing in 2013 flood) was driving past and Fred raced out to bite tyres
(a habit I could never get him to stop - has destroyed several spare tyres on the back of my ute) and got run over by a Nissan Patrol.

Further up my valley is a schizophrenic dope grower who's always in and out of gaol/jail.
Not just for growing dope, but his panchant for car theft and house break ins.
One of his routines is to break in, rearrange the furniture and put all the coffee mugs outside on the grass.
Then write the occupants a note explaining what he's done.

Further up my road (a side road off road through valley) is a Vietnam veteran and former car salesman on Prozac cum illegal gun dealer who brought speed junkies into the valley to do break in to obtain guns.
This character imagines being a salesman is work, which of course it's not, it's an occupation but certainly not work.
To obtain A TPI pension he feigned PTSD so he doesn't have to do what he imagines is work, which means seeing a psychiatrist monthly and taking anti-depressants. Now he's addicted to Prozac just like a smacky is addicted to heroin.
Side affects of anti-depressants are loss of memory (so he forgets what version of bullshit he's said to who) and loss of libido (so probably can't get a fat ... except for the blubber 'round his belly)
It seems he's jealous that he's had to lie, cheat, scam and steal all his life to obtain what he has, while I having a millionaire father could just sit on my arse and wait for an inheritance to acquire far more, for nothing!
Anyway, it seems he keeps an eye out on what I write about him on this site (he's had/has 2 accounts at this site) and when I slag him off here he ups the ante with his stalking activities.
Recently, in the 'Behaviour in threads' thread I mentioned some of the things he gets up to, and like clock work the stalking starts again.
For 3 days and 3 nights in a row he's snuck in an stood the soap in a stainless bowl on the side of my bath tub on its side, just to let me know he was there.

Well Custard Guts (or Wobly Rodney) I think that makes you just as weird as the Schizo dope grower.
If skulking around my place is your excuse for a fitness regime, by all means carry on.
Sooner or later you'll burn out, having wasted your twilight years being a nuisance or get caught on my cameras.

Rained on Monday, so no work. Explored (and collected firewood) some new tracks timber cutters put in earlier this year, which lead to a creek
I've been meaning to have a look at for a few years now.

Found some very interesting rocks. For me, a rock's qualities for interest aren't about how pretty it is, but what's in it - mineral content.

One roughly triangular shaped rock has varying shades of dark green through it, leading me to suspect it's from a rich source of copper carbonate.
Copper's worth looking for when searching for gold because the copper deposits sit on top of the gold deposits.

Then I found 2 other Granitic based pieces of Pegmatite containing Arseno-pyrite (good sign of copper and gold) and a black rock, I assumed to be black Ironstone or Basalt.

But upon research via my geology - rock and mineral identification - books it seems the black stones in the Pegmatite are potentially ilmenite (titanium & iron oxides mixture) [which would be good because I've been looking for ilmenite - titanium's worth good money, but isn't subject to the competition gold is] but more likely uranite (so called because of its uranium content). In which case the green in the other rock could be uranium oxide (yellow in colour) contaminated with another mineral. Whatever the case, I'm going to have to do further exploration of that creek.

I'm hoping it's ilmenite (due to value) as I consider titanium the alloying metal of the future, much like molybdenum used to be and tungston is today. If it's uranite, I'll just have to ignore it, because trying to commercial a uranium deposit would turn all the cow cockies into 'Lock the Gate' greenie activists. Red hat Gina wants to mine coal at Bucca (about 50km away) and the locals have gone hysterical with yellow triangular "No coal mine" stickers and placards.

I found what seems to be a good or reasonable gold deposit recently, but the particles are in a black soil, and the mud gooped up my equipment.
Which means I'm going to have to revert to my chemical (aqua regia - hydrochloric and nitric acids) and electrolysis method of extraction.

Whilst I'd agree a lot of it is written through a haze of dope, and therefore very liberal with the facts, it's certainly entertaining. He missed his calling as a fiction writer.

I haven't smoked weed since October 2014 ... had a chest infection, and was told by a quak I might (but don't) have lung cancer.

I'm reasonably sure those here who've been here long enough to guage my character know I couldn't be bothered with bullshit - telling it, or listening to it - because it's a waste of time, and oxygen for that matter.
If you have trouble accepting what I write about my life style, I pity you, because you must live in a very sheltered bubble.
May I suggest you spend some time in central or north Qld, and then you will see that what I write about my surroundings or myself
are pretty tame for this part of the world. Actually my current life style is pretty tame compared to my 20s and 30s when I rode with
potentially the most notorious outlaw club in OZ. I bet you believe the fake-umentaries on ABC are real.

Had some odd dreams lately ...

Over the weekend; Dream scene ... I'm spying on 3 young women with square mini binoculars.
I'm attached to a flying fox type cable on which I can travel mechanically or motorised.
I move in up close to the 3 women and they're behind the front fence wire of an associate's old house in Bundy.
They notice I'm perving on them and I'm in drag. I don't mind they've seen me perving on them but withdraw
back up the cable so they won't feel threatened, and I'm uncomfortable with the fact I'm in drag.
Then a bloke comes out of the house and asks "Are you a boy?" .. Then I woke.

Few nights ago; Dream scene #1 I'm in the lounge room of the house my father built at Engadine (NSW) when I was a kid.
A bloke I knew from Bundy but now lives at Milson's point/Kirabilly (NSW) comes in with a big bag of drugs.
There's heaps of weed and speed, but all interest seems to be on the speed. He gives me a big pile of satchels
containing the speed, and it's thrown behind the door. Then I put the satchels in a cardboard box like that work boots
come in. I put the box on the other side of the room near the big window.
A group of us are inspecting the speed and I comment "It's purple" and notice its in small ball shapes, like mini Xmas
tree decorations. When I go to have some, the box is gone and I'm complaining.

Dream scene #2 Battle scene in urban street. 3 of us are hiding behind a car on one side of the street and 5 opponents
are hiding behind a car on the other side. We have a pump action shot gun, a cross-bow and a hunting bow.
They have pistols and a rifle. We're exchanging fire and 1 of us is shot by the rifle. He's down.
I'm using the pump action, then run out of ammo, so switch to the hunting bow. My ally is using the cross-bow which
is cocked/primed by a sprung lever out the right side, and he's turning the butt side on then slamming the lever on the
car bonnet to cock it.
My ally runs out of cross-bow bolts (arrows) and the enemies knows. Their 2 i c runs towards us and I shoot him with the bow.
He runs back with an arrow in his forehead. They (enemy) run out of ammo and I have 2 arrows left.
I skim one's face with an arrow and waste the other.
They're coming across to get us, and I'm searching the car for another weapon. I pick up a machete scabbard and it flops,
is empty. I find a metal file.
They search the car and also pick up the machete scabbard which again flops, so they discard it.
2 i c comes around the car to stab me, but can't do it, so goes back to enemy boss and says "I failed to do it"
Enemy boss takes the knife, come around the car and I see its an improvised knife - stencil cutter style blade sticking out
of a handle wrapped in cloth (much like a gaol yard slasher). I lift the front of my T-shirt offering him my belly and he backs off.
Then I woke.
