A bloke who worked for my father went to Japan with a junior soccer team as the coach.
He (said) got friendly with a Japanese woman and in her company a report came on TV
showing police with apprehended people. He couldn't understand what was being said (on TV)
but could guage the situation.
He asked the Japanese woman "Did they get caught with drugs?" and she replied "Yes/Hi".
He asked "What sort of drugs?" and she replied "Sleeping pills".

In 2000 I had a Japanese girlfriend (Kaiko - who my associates called "cake hole" ... never explained it to her) I met at a backpacker hostel.
Unusually for a Japanese girl she smoked weed (and had a tattoo).
One day a Japanese bloke (backpacker) visited her in our hostel unit, and we were smoking weed together.
A police car arrived in the car park to take in a shop lifter from another unit.
This Jap bloke panicked upon seeing the cops, running around trying to get out the read exit {blocked/locked} and bailed out a bed room window.
He was genuinely terrified of being caught in connection with a drug/cannabis.

the stories going around about her it really bizarre one said she owed a lot of rent money in Adelaide but the landlord said no she doesnt it was all paid up but it sounds as if her mother paid it off...

we do of course realise had they not picked her up in Bogoto this drug could have been on our streets...

Accused drug mule Cassie Sainsbury allegedly worked as a prostitute in a western Sydney brothel for a number of months in the lead up to her ill-fated trip to Colombia, Channel Nine reports.

Channel Nine reports Ms Sainsbury worked under the alias “Claudia” at Club 2207, a brothel located near Penrith in western Sydney, advertising her services with an online post which stated: “19 years old … classy, fun and ready to please ... and in Sydney for a short time”.

Channel Nine has reportedly spoken to two women who claim to be former colleagues from the brothel.

“I just feel Cassandra is not the naive sweet little blonde girl that everybody thinks she is. She’s a very good liar,” one of the women told Channel Nine.

The former colleagues allegedly told Channel Nine people should be wary of Ms Sainsbury, claiming she is someone with a history of lying and scheming for financial advantage.

“She said her mum was suffering from MS (multiple sclerosis) and was in a private hospital in Sydney, that she didn’t have private health insurance but Cassandra had done a deal with the hospital for reduced fees but she’d run up quite a debt,” the former colleague told Channel Nine. “Then … she had a phone call saying that her mum was dying, and then another call saying her mum had died, passed away from MS … all while she was at the brothel.”

Sainsbury’s former colleagues claim a number of co-workers donated hundreds of dollars each to help Sainsbury cover funeral costs, but then were astonished to see her mum was in fact alive and well on news vision emerging from Colombia over the last fortnight.

“We’ve been really scammed. It’s not like she just mentioned it once or twice, Cassandra would go on and on about it,” her former colleague said.

“I think she’s manipulative, I think she’s a compulsive liar and I think she’s conniving.”

Whilst on Channel 7 apparently Cassie told her boyfriend that she worked for her uncle's cleaning company. The uncle, who was a military investigator, denies that he has ever owned a business and that Cassie has never worked for him.

She could never have got through customs.
Any organic material shows up as bright orange on the X-ray which is done to all baggage.
She is an idiot who had no idea about what she was doing or the risks she was taking.

Working as a hooker she would have been exposed to organised crime.
She looks very guilty given she is a compulsive liar, according to family and friends, and has now changed her original story.
The boyfriend looks like he knows more than he is letting on too.
