Labor liars - the budget reply.

Post by Bobby » Thu May 11, 2017 8:12 pm

Bull Shitten.

Silly Billy found $129 billion in extra money from mostly rich people.
Why didn't he do that when Labor was in power?
Labor has such great ideas when in opposition.

Shorten had money for everything you could possibly want -
all from a magic pudding.
The truth is that all his ideas would have to be done with borrowed money.

He never says the word BORROW.

In other words - Shorten is short with the truth.

They're all liars -
it doesn't matter if they're left wing or right wing -
they don't care about you - at all, at all, at all.

Because he was the Minister for Financial Services and Superannuation and the Minister for Workplace Relations. It wasn't his job then to do it.

powerful or not, it's true. It wasn't his job to design a budget and worry about the big picture. his job was to concentrate on his portfolios

Of course, all these 'measures' announced in opposition are meaningless anyway. Unless all the numbers the libs are spitting out are 100% correct right now and Shorten takes over as PM right now, it's just waffle. By the time he gets the job the numbers will be so different that anything announced today is obsolete.

Well John,
there will be trouble in the Senate.
Bill doesn't seem to agree with very much.

How will the budget pass?

it's the oppositions job to make noise. Most of the budget will pass the senate.

You seem to forget bobby that most of what the politicians do is showmanship for the viewing audience. In reality, labor and the libs pass/support the great majority of each others policies, even if they tweak them a little here and there. The exception in recent times is the 2014 budget. That was simply a shemozzle that didn't deserve to pass.

I agree but I reckon we'll see a real bun fight.

Will Labor block supply?

They could easily win an election.

Why would you need a bun fight?
The libs have simply given up trying to fight for what is right and needs to be done and presented an ALP budget.

I started business relocation plans back in 2010 and have now relocated all capital, business and tax obligations for business to HK, barre a shell company for local trading and for "renting" the office/warehouse from the "totally unconnected HK company" who now own it after I sold it to different HK company

Business is tough lately.
Rent is expensive in Australia and locally, the company is barely making any profit.
We are only just keeping the doors open and our heads above water...although turnover is growing annually in the low double digit figures. :thumb
It's a good thing head office believes in the Australian market and is prepared to stick it out, even if we have to accept some on going support via long term intra-company loans. :hush

Despite the difficult times, I can say the company is very supportive of my efforts and are very generous with the $ize of my quarterly and annual bonus's! :P
:thumb

The only downside is I will have to spend more time in HK, but the company has leased a very nice apartment in West Kowloon so it feels more like home than hotel stays.

It's not fun to watch your home country that was once the strong seaworth vessel, the good ship Australia now limping along as the hull has hole after hole appear in the side. The worst part is the holes are being blown out from the inside. :(
