It's 9pm on a Friday night and I have moved on to the coffee.
Just don't have the stamina I had in my early 20's

Planted four honeydew melon seedlings today. Hopefully the soil is warm enough. Got some cucumber & zuchini seedlings just hardening up. Planted more salvias, have another half dozen to plant yet. Huge mass of flowers to come.
The honeydew melons (when they are finally ready) will be eaten with prosciutto. Most people go "Eeeeuuuwwww, melon and prosciutto? yechhhh!" Yet it is a classic Italian entree. The luscious, juicy melon partnered with the tangy ham is a gastronomic marriage made in heaven, like bacon and eggs. The prosciutto MUST be sliced really thin for best effect.

In the meantime, Lefty is planting mangos, ladyfinger bananas, paw paws, papayas, pineapples and all sorts of tropical goodies!
the cute aproned one got excited about paw paws until (s)he realised it was just a fruit, then got excited all over again at the "fruit" bit!
