TGP reported earlier that the first FISA request came right after AG Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton on the tarmac at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in June of 2016.

The second FISA request was submitted in October of 2016 just before the election. Hillary Clinton sent out a tweet on October 31st stating that ‘computer scientists have uncovered a covert server linking the Trump organization to a Russian-based server’.

It appears she was tipped off to the wiretapping prior to the election.

Trump didn't just fire off those tweets as a thought explosion. He did so as a deliberate measure and in a specific way.
Trump worked out long ago that the standard operating procedure of calling a press conference in Washington only allows the #Fakemedia to call their Democratic buddies to ask how they spin this story.

The wire taps occurred, they were already reported and were the basis of "muh Russians" spin to discredit Trump in the campaign. Hillary and Podesta commented on them at the time and it took 3 attempts to get it into place,.

The wash up is, that Trump is squeaky clean. I doubt anyone in the Democratic hierarchy would get the same result under similar scrutiny.
The only question remaining is the question of executive overreach and considering Obamas previous use of govt agencies to attack political opponents, this is a very real scenario.
