Plenty of land for sale up here. Tends to sell slow though.
Most people thing theik blocks (and pretty much everything they have) are worth more than what they really are.

A lot of people buy up here but can't handle the weather extremes and move on.
Been stinking hot here since November.

That is one big move! Interesting to see if you can get it going. Also interested if you get the generator welder going. There were DC generators used years ago that were actually welders within themselves. They were compound wound machines which meant that they . had a series and shunt field but they were wired in a method called "differentially compounded". This meant as the current passed through the series field to the load, it produced a field that negated the shunt one - this meant high current and low voltage output - perfect for a welder. I guess this one is an AC generator that supplies power to a normal welder?

Yes it's been quite an effort.

Interesting to see if you can get it going.

Needs some work, including another motor (recently got a Mistubishi truck to cannibalise for the motor, but is too long)

Not according to the specs plates + it has terminals to attach welding leads to.
