DVA and Defence Related Issues - New Info
Not sure if any ex or current defence people are on here that don't read the Defence forum on OzPol. Please contact me if you need more info
The SOPs for Otitic and Sinus Baratrauma have been reviewed recently (www.rma.gov.au) and include a few new things for the above conditions. Whilst acceptance of the conditions does not give much, they can lead to acceptance of sleep apnoea as service caused. For me, it now covers my time in submarines which has caused me no end of grief over the years with my hearing and breathing.
"I refer to previous correspondence regarding investigations in respect of otitic barotrauma and sinus barotrauma which were being undertaken by the Repatriation Medical Authority (the Authority). These investigations were conducted pursuant to subsection 196B(7A) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 (the VEA) and have now been completed.
After reviewing the available evidence, the Authority has determined new Amendment Statements of Principles as follows:
Investigation
New Amendment Instruments
otitic barotrauma
sinus barotrauma
otitic barotrauma
15 & 16/2017
sinus barotrauma
17 & 18/2017

Ex or current defence officials are all homosexuals.
The biggest threat they pose to an enemy is an enema and a whack on the chops with a handbag.
The only medical expertise in the defence department medical ranks is anal warts and genital herpes.

Would you like the SOPs for those conditions? If you can prove they were service caused you may get a white card and a small DVA pension. Let me know or you can look them up at www.rma.gov.auDenizen wrote:Ex or current defence officials are all homosexuals.

I would like to meet with you but am afraid I would have to wear the most expensive available bio suit to avoid myself being infected by a most horrendous tranche of infectious diseases.Wayne wrote:Would you like the SOPs for those conditions? Do your barracks have a bio-hazard warning outside?

"Barracks"? Good Grief one doesn't live in "Barracks" - only low level grunts do that and who cares about their medical conditions anyway! As for Bio Suits, the ex Defence Materiel Organisation were trialling them until recently, but found they caused anal itching and testicular growth - was that a problem for you - because there is an SOP for that also at www.rma.gov.au.

No, but if the renumeration is fair and reasonable I could give it a shot. In your opinion and experience, what would I volunteer for? Looks like frontal lobotomy has been done, what is left that pays well - or do I have to beat you in a race to the green door for it? I'll give it a miss - you probably need the money more than meDenizen wrote:Are you a medical experiment volunteer?Wayne wrote:Denizen wrote:I would like to meet with you but am afraid I would have to wear the most expensive available bio suit to avoid myself being infected by a most horrendous tranche of infectious diseases.Wayne wrote:Would you like the SOPs for those conditions? I perceive Wayne would be suited to medical experiments for a medical cure to battlefield cowardice.Wayne wrote:No, but if the renumeration is fair and reasonable I could give it a shot. Well, perceptions are usually wrong it is a trait of the lower class. "Commands the Public Toilet Door" - what an interesting statement - did you get caught at the glory hole by the local police? Surely a man of your standing (or kneeling) should know better. Perhaps in the next 7 days you could find somewhere different. There is also a SOP for "Sexual Dysfunction" that would help you I am sure. Available at www.rma.gov.au
