I think the powerwall was announced a year ago. This is game changing technology. With a wall of these you could run your house. Add a solar panel and the electric companies will be up in arms.

Electricity companies will be decimated, they already charge higher prices to make up for their renewable rebates and loss of business... when this gets going it will kill them off entirely.

Currently they are working on a flexible/gel nano-technology that will allow buildings to become power storage devices themselves.
But perhaps its biggest potential lies in the fact that being a gel, it's bendy. It won't crack. And that's what excites this industry. The potential is for flat pack zinc-bromine batteries to be included in the very fabric of buildings. Lendlease is just one of the big companies that's been inspired by Professor Maschmeyer's vision.

I read that, scan it but a deal with a UK company is to do a license deal I expect. Minimum money for Australia. Great for the inventor.
We need to start building things ourselves and setting up OS manufactory owned by aissues's. that's what the yanks do.

Well since we are going to be the FIRST COUNTRY to adopt this technology for housing I expect we will have companies providing products and services.
Oh and just because 1 UK company has invested in 1 company doesn't mean it will take over or even have a controlling interest.
