Yogi - sorry I had to move your thread to a private place. It's safe and intact but the reason I did so was because the photos were of real people and real life facts and locations can't be posted here. When SN gets back - I'll get him to have a look and ask him where to put it or else I can post the thread to you via message. If I've made a mistake - SN or Skippy will resurrect it. It hasn't been touched otherwise.

Yes there were photos of real life thieving scum, but unlike when I posted in SN's original 'Scumbag Watch' thread (couldn't locate it) I did not post their real names.
When I posted their names and photos (in SN's 'Scumbag watch' thread) FD contacted me stating he didn't want to have to get a lawyer, which I accepted as reasonable, despite the fact Custard Guts (a TPI pensioner for being fucked in the head) couldn't sue anyone for defamation unless he could prove publishing of the material caused him to lose income/money. And as the only income he could potentially lose from posting such material is from the sale of stolen firearms, it is highly unlikely he'd say "Boo".
Actually the only option open to him would be to sue me personally (not FD) for libel/slander and I welcome Custard Guts to waste money on a case he would lose, because libel and slander must be false for him to win. Truth or fiction doesn't matter in defamation, the only relevant factor being loss of income.

We make comments about and reproduce images of people here all the time, be it politically or socially related, so I find the excuse for your precaution to be pretty piss poor.

NEVER post a picture of Ozzz or Monk and his dog or you will be in REAL trouble.

I really wonder whether posting a picture of a person on an anonymous FORUM could get you into trouble with the Authorities? Everyone who has a Facebook Account, apparently does it all the time.

I told Skippy and SN about the thread in the mod forum and said I would move it back if they wanted me to. As yet I haven't had a response from them. You said some pretty heavy things about your neighbours' alleged criminality and posted their photos up also. I know FD would not agree with this. He probably didn't see the thread, but someone would have brought it to his attention.

Yes - photos of politicians and celebrities are posted here with negative personal comments, but these are copied from the mainstream media where they have already been run past a legal team.

I'll ask Skippy and SN again and if they give the OK - I'll move it back.

One of the mods has responded and thinks it shouldn't be in the public view. I'll wait for SN's final word. I don't care whether it stays in Off Topic or not, but I erred on the side of caution. It is not personal as I think you write well and your stories are interesting.
