You have got to read the policy before you judge it Cods. It would put a lot of the dealers and importers out of work and probably save a lot of lives in the long term.

Maybe I should have said he was a person of quality instead. He had a lot of dirt thrown at him, but he didn't change his values to score political points. Some people think class means expensive clothes, a good speaking voice and a title. That's not so in my view.

if he thinks he can control addiction by making it legal he has rocks in his head....

did he suggest we have a whole govt dept....whos duty it is to make these drugs and see they are available daily???...

I read his policy and Portugal doesnt do it for me.. he claims users have dropped since they made it a health problem and not a crime...however what I read its the deaths of users that has dropped...and then it mainly blames because they are using the real thing and not synthetic...maybe the Portugese health system can handle dealing with drug addicts 24/7 I am not sure ours could.. did Wally tell us what his intentions are to improve the health system that is already over used.....dont worry mantra he never does tell us where the money is coming from....

from what I see the kids dying from drugtaking is usually something they take at some concert where they will take anything on offer...

I do prefer a system that would make addicts give up any form of drug.. rather than encourage them to keep taking them...

I just dont think we have come up with anything that really works on those lines as yet
