Been Googling here....nothing.

Pssst. Orthodoxy is a world wide religion.

(It's not just the domain of Geeks.)

And it has a lot to answer for....unfortunately :(

They do...but Islam, Catholicism and Orthodoxy stand out as the worst offenders and in that order.

Anyway, back to these twins...I'm wondering now... IF the remaining bub does survive, it will probably be left with severe brain damage.

What a frightening outcome.

How did these TWO babies drown?

Two????

You just don't leave a baby unattended near water. Not even for a second.

Sorry... I'm just very angry and upset about this tragedy :(

Too many drownings this year already and I strongly believe that too many people come here from other countries and don't teach their children the dangers of the surf nor do they teach their young children/toddlers how to float at a very early age if they have pools.

Do the primary schools still have compulsory swimming lessons?

When I lived in Sydney I was surrounded by swimming pools so had my daughter taught to "swim" when she was about 2.5. You still had to watch them like a hawk, though as they don't actually swim as such, just learn how to keep afloat. We used to go sailing on the Harbour most weekends as well and she had to wear a life-jacket (obviously). I have never been a strong swimmer so I doubt I would dive in to rescue somebody larger than a small child! :D

Cods, I'm still very upset. I've been crying, praying and stressing over this tragedy. I've not slept much.

I don't even know this Italian family....but it's totally devastated me as a mum...and as a mum of twins.

( Hubby and kids reckon I'm in a very cranky mood today...sigh :roll )
