I couldnt agree more..
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/o ... 8872a01032
I USED to be a supporter of an Australian Republic, a supporter of gay marriage, and a supporter of multiculturalism. Then the Left came along and turned me off all three. Nice work, guys! Oh, sorry, I can’t say “guys” because the Left told me that’s a sexist word. My mistake. So I’ll say “Nice work, team” instead. Oops, can’t say “team” either, ever since Tony Abbott uttered the phrase Team Australia and every Lefty — including Malcolm Turnbull — piled in on top of him because the word “team” is offensive to Muslims, apparently.
OK, so how about I say “Nice work, gang”? Is that better? Or is the word “gang” offensive to, you know, gangs? Like the Apex gang currently terrorising the streets of Melbourne with home invasions and car-jackings; a gang whose skin tones and features all bear an uncanny similarity to each other, not that we’re allowed to mention what that similarity is.
Anyway, I digress. In fairly rapid succession, the Left have turned me into a diehard monarchist, an anti-multiculturalist and an opponent of same sex marriage. How on earth did they do it?
Let’s start with gay marriage. Up until two years ago I thought gays should be allowed to get married and said so on numerous TV shows. Back then it was a no-brainer. If two people of the same sex want to get hitched and commit to a life of loving each other, why not?
this is so true of me..bar the pro. Republic bit... I couldnt careless.. I just wish someone could really give me a good reason to become one...
as for Gay marriage.. yes indeed it is the left and their bizarre way of looking at it.. that has made me determined if I ever got a chance to vote.. it would be NO..just to be as difficult as they have been...
multi cul.. I have never been a fan of and every day I find another reason not to sanction it...
when in Rome do as the Romans do... thats my motto.... and I am sick to death of bending over for the smallest minorities....even down to Hala meat.. its against everything we believe in.. its pure and simple animal cruelty....

I've changed my views on a lot of things too Cods. I used to try to keep my mind open to different cultures, religions and their habits, but just can't tolerate the extremists anymore. I've never been a fan of Australia becoming a republic though. Absolute power corrupts and for one leader to rule us all without challenge would eventually lead to a dictatorship.

Re: I couldnt agree more..
I agree with all of it. In order to become a republic we would need a system whereby we, the people, actually vote for a person to lead our country and not a party who instates their pick, stabs them in the back then instates another.
Whining lefties and small minorities have turned me off SSM. I know a few gays and I have not met one yet who either wants to get married or believes in indoctrinating our kids in schools, sexualising them or pushing warped agendas. So no there too.
Multiculturalism has gone too far. All we are doing is bringing in welfare bludgers, cheats and crooks who hate Australians. Sydney is the epitome of failed multiculturalism. Nothing like the days of yore when people migrated from Italy, Greece, Portugal etc and came here to work and to provide a better life for their families.
Just the other day my youngest was targeted by young Lebanese bikies who stole $2000 from him. Kick them all out, they have nothing to offer us here.

Exactly. We also need a different Monarch in Britain before anything like that can happen. King William is perhaps the time that the young Aussies will want a Republic. Or even perhaps King George? Who knows. At the moment everybody is quite OK with what we have now ...Black Orchid wrote:I agree with all of it. Agreed. I don't care what people do in their bedrooms (or behind the bike sheds) and MOST gays I know have no compunction to get "married", they already have the same legal stuff as "unmarried" heterosexual couples do ....Whining lefties and small minorities have turned me off SSM. It became a "problem" as soon as migrants were called multiculturals (or whatever) by Grasby. Prior to that they were Migrants who wanted to make a NEW LIFE IN AUSTRALIA .... fit in, learn English (No Stone Unturned) and bring up their children as Aussies.Multiculturalism has gone too far. That's dreadful, did they steal his debit card? Can't imagine a young person walking around with $2K cash on his person.Just the other day my youngest was targeted by young Lebanese bikies who stole $2000 from him. Kick them all out, they have nothing to offer us here.

I don't have the full story yet as he doesn't want to talk about it. He will tell me in dribs and drabs no doubt.Neferti~ wrote:That's dreadful, did they steal his debit card? Can't imagine a young person walking around with $2K cash on his person.

I had to go to a Medicare office today that shares the premises with Centrelink. While I was waiting for a Medicare teller 3 people were called on the Centrelink side of the room and the FIRST thing that was said by the staff member in all 3 instances was ...
"Do you speak English? Do you need an interpreter?"
As far as I am concerned. NO English? NO welfare! End of!

Most of the young ones being scooped up for terrorism in Sydney's west are all on Disability. Yet the Gov is busy attacking job seekers and older genuinely disabled Australians. The Gov is obviously too scared to target those that shouldn't even be here in the first place. Enough is enough.

As a matter of interest (and it is none of my business) but do they have a University Degree, still live at home and get welfare?
Are YOU still treating them like "little boys" Cook and clean for them?
Kids should MOVE OUT of the family home at 18 or so .........
No wonder they aren't saving to get a flat ... Mummy will fix it all .... AFTER you die.
Sorry, Black Orchid ....
PS Glad that the brain scan was negative!
