I have never heard of this "charity".
1. There is no such thing as Santa
2. Children shouldn't be manipulated to "be good" or they won't get any pressies
3. The entire Christmas thing has gotten out of hand ...
4. I imagine that more MURDERS will occur at Christmas time this year than ever before ... some rellies are VERY obnoxious
5. Next Christmas will be must better than this one.
6. Maybe some of the most annoying rellies will be dead next Christmas ...
ANYTHING else you can add .. go for it.

Is it like your forum? Only 3 people involved and one of them is you?

My 11 year old used to use the same insult and thought it was clever too.
At least he learnt otherwise.

The company I work for has given us a xmas present every year that I've worked there. It's usually some cheap wine but this year we recieved something usefull, a herd of goats and a well.
They are in the form of a donation to Oxfam for, I assume, an African villiage. The explanation leaflet is a little vague.
I hope the gift does reach its intended destination.
While I think its a great idea I also wonder why we don't support our own backyard, there must be communities in this country that could do with a hand up.
Anyway Merry xmas to all, I am going away for a week or so and will only be taking my iphone which is terrible to type with so I probably will not be writing much, if anything, for the next week.

Merry Xmas to you as well skip and safe journey..
I too have looked at buying a chicken or pig for my grandkids....but I have so little faith in these Charities.. so little accountability
and no matter how much they get each year they want more.. so its not fixing anything is it???...I need to get my faith back I fear...its been sorely damaged..
