THE State Government has caved to pressure and taken over control of the controversial Safe Schools program from hardline Marxist Roz Ward.

The government on Friday told Ms Ward, who co-founded the contentious anti-bullying program aimed at LGBTI students almost seven years ago, it was terminating its contract with La Trobe University where she works.

The Department of Education and Training will run the program from next year.

The move comes after repeated calls this year for Ms Ward to be sacked — and for the program to be scrapped after a Federal Government review found some of the material concerning.

Education Minister James Merlino relentlessly stood by Ms Ward’s program and Victoria was among the only state to keep teaching it in its entirety.

But in a major backflip, Mr Merlino on Friday night said the program would be “better supported” by bringing it in-house.

None of the learning content is expected to be changed.

Opposition education spokesman Nick Wakeling told the Herald Sun the government needed to go one step further and scrap the “toxic” program.

“They can take Roz Ward out of it, but it will still have her fingerprints all over it,” Mr Wakeling said.

“The only action that Dan Andrews should be taking is to scrap this program altogether.”

The Andrews Government plans to expand the compulsory Safe Schools program into all Victorian government secondary schools by the end of 2018.

Almost 60 per cent of state secondary schools have already signed up to the program.

The struggling Victorian government has belatedly realised that its attachment to the self-described Marxists of La Trobe University’s sex research unit is not exactly embraced by the electorate.

The more parents discovered about Safe Schools — a sexual indoctrination program, under the guise of “anti-bullying”, which asserts extreme fringe views of gender and sexual fluidity — the less they liked.

And Ward was a lightning rod for their discontent. In June she was suspended by LaTrobe after she posted on Facebook that the Australian flag was “racist” and should be replaced by a Communist red flag.

She was quickly reinstated after a union outcry, but last month was caught on camera trying to forcibly remove the red baseball cap of a Trump supporter. Then last week she gloated about keeping parents in the dark, telling The Guardian: “Discussions about gender and sexual diversity are... in the Victorian curriculum and there is no reason why they should need parental consent any more than long division in maths.”

She had become a liability to Safe Schools.

For that reason it’s a pity she’s gone, and the program is being brought in-house by the Education Department.

But now that Safe Schools will be administered by insiders, who are cut from the same cloth as La Trobe’s academics, it is in danger of being legitimised.

Already Socialist Premier Dan Andrews has adopted Safe Schools gender-free outlook.

A new “Inclusive Language Guide” urges Victoria’s public servants to avoid “heteronormative” words such as “husband” and “wife” and, instead, use gender-neutral terms such as “zie” and “hir”.

I doubt any parent or grandparent wants their children and grandchildren indoctrinated with this to the detriment of literacy and numeracy. The pendulum is turning and it seems the only 'safe' place to educate our children nowadays is in the private system.

Pretty soon we will see lynch mobs going after the likes of Marxist Roz Ward and it's little wonder that the far right is gaining traction fast across the globe.

Well the paedophile networks used to work clandestinely mainly through churches and their institutions, but the churches have fallen from favour/grace. Meanwhile Left wing orgs, the ALP in particular have sabotage society agendas, and what better way is there to fuck up society than with queer politics? This allows paedophilic grooming to become mainstream because hijacking education means they can work out in the open with impunity.

This is why homosexuality was illegal though out most of modern history.

I said back in the mid 90s "These Lebos will start a civil war in this country".

I used to work around Chullora-Greenacre-Yagoona-Bankstown-Condell Park.
At the end of WW2 the govt gave alot of retired vets public housing in Greenacre.
By the mid 90s most were inhabited by the vets' widows and these ond ladies were
to scared to go to Greenacre shops because they'd get harassed by young Lebos.

My father had a custom wheel business (and sold tyres) and I had a mag wheel repair business.
I rented a portion of his factory (he has lots of factories) and much of the local demographic is
Lebanese muslim.
They were constantly thieving and trying stand-overs. I lost count of the times I chased groups
of Lebos out of the factory with a piece of steel pipe. After one incident with threats to return,
I took the mattress from my house (Condell Park) and slept in the factory with a loaded pump
action 12 guage shotgun for a week - they didn't return. Then I started taking my 40kg shepherd X
cattle dog to work regularly. Gave them something else to think about, and their attitude
improved considerably.

Ward is a psycho and a bully... she should never be allowed to interfere in the lives of ordinary Australians ever again and this travesty of a program, which is nothing more than pushing her personal agenda should be scrapped.
