You are full of sh!t as you always are. Simple questions anyone who has had a Colonoscopy and removal of polyps would know.
Your constant made up stories make a mockery of people who ARE actually ill. Carry on though by all means.

I have had a few colonoscopy ops myself with polops removed, worst part is the diet leading up to it!IQS.RLOW wrote:So you has a colonoscopy BFD.lisa jones wrote:I had a colonoscopy/laser treatment at a certain hospital after a barrage of tests were carried out. I was heavily sedated (not under GA) for the procedure.
I will apparently be needing regular follow up treatment from now on. Why? I will develop more and these can be dangerous...ie cancerous if left untreated.
It appears there is a history of bowel cancer on my dad's side. I've spoken spoken with that side of the family because it was impt that my doctors knew. No history appears on my mum's side. My Italian background is a different story....heavy meat and pasta eaters.
Oh and re the specifics of my medical procedure.....I was heavily sedated and still felt sick and weak from being ill for well over a week. And that vile bleach tasting stuff I was ordered to drink beforehand has given me post traumatic stress. I have recurring nightmares.....even now.
Ruminating/BO or whatever/whoever you are......just a tip.....when a person is VERY sick and has to go to hospital because they feel their intestines are about to explode on account of excruciating pain.....the LAST thing they care about are the precise details of their bowels...ie themselves. As a mum, the 1st thing we worry about is if our kids are going to be ok and if our husband is going to cope.
Ok.....I'll fess. I was also worried about the house work and washing too.
The actual hospital report is currently being prepared for my local doctor.
If you like, I'll tell my doctor to send you a copy.
Shall I tell them you're a doctor?
He'll want to know.
Its a routine examination and polyps are removed as a matter of course.
On the last occasion I also had an Upper Endoscopy done at the same time while I was under anesthetic due to digestive problems
Anyway it had me a bit worried that they might use the same camera! YUK!!

AND IT WAS A BIG FUCKING DEAL because it was bloody painful, I was exhausted and fatigued after being sick for so long and it wasn't done under general anaesthetic. Just sedation.
Even under normal circumstances I can't take pain. Ok?
Why do you think I've only ever had caesarean sections...and even then only under general anaesthetic conditions.
Anyway.....enough.

Please, ignore BO's utter bullshit.lisa jones wrote:Ummm no....polyps can make you feel VERY sick.Black Orchid wrote:Polyps do not make you sick and feverish. You would never even know they were there and are only found if there is cause to look. There are absolutely no symptoms.
And there are a constellation of symptoms which can occur concurrently.
Best you stick to what you know....and leave medical issues to those who are qualified AND/OR have been advised by those who are medically qualified.
Otherwise you will run the risk of posting BS....again.
There ARE symptoms....lots of them and they vary from person to person.
This advice/info is straight from my gastroenterologist.
There should be info on this somewhere on the internet. Having said that, nothing beats asking your doctor yourself!
Your life is worth it.
Ok....outta here.

It's like a general and they feed the drugs in through a cannula and you just go to sleep and when you wake up you don't remember a thing. No pain.Redneck wrote:They put me under, probably thought I was a sook!Black Orchid wrote:Most are done under heavy sedation and not a general and they DO NOT HURT and you don't remember a thing either. lolRedneck wrote:I have had a few colonoscopy ops myself with polops removed, worst part is the diet leading up to it!

Perhaps the Angels told Lisa something else while they were saving her and there are NO symptoms for polyps.
Intense fever and sickness? Again, it makes a mockery of people who really do suffer with real illnesses.

Correct, I have had exactly the same procedure. Colonoscopy and endoscopy with polyp removal under sedation, although i did wake up when they started the endo (fairly common as it feels like you are choking)and they had to increase the sedation.Black Orchid wrote:Most are done under heavy sedation and not a general and they DO NOT HURT and you don't remember a thing either. lolRedneck wrote:I have had a few colonoscopy ops myself with polops removed, worst part is the diet leading up to it!

Had to drink the foul crap that makes you piss out of your ass the day before.
It's a routine exam. Nothing dramatic about it at ll.
