Christmas is coming and the geese are getting fat ....
Please put a penny in the Old Man's Hat ...
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do ...
If you haven't got a ha'penny then God Bless You.
***************************************************************
I have a few presents bought (unwrapped) and the Christmas cards (and stamps), no Christmas tree, yet .... that's about it.
What about you?

Oh, I have lots of epals overseas and use this site for e-cards .... costs me about $15 a year but well worth it.
Check out the cards (click the preview card) ... Jacqui Lawson is English and her cards are really great and for all occasions.

I'm prepared . We have already bought the boy some games that he wanted ( he is a gamer) and Ill just give him his favourite present with them, cash.
I bought my mum and sister some hand made vases at a local market on the weekend ( what do you buy women that have everything they need?) And my wife and I agreed we don't want anything because we really dont need or want anything ( probably the first time in my life I could say that).
The downer for me is I need to go to Sydney this year, which I hate. My mum was coming here but she is too ill to travel so I have to go to Cronulla, where my sister lives, for Christmas.

Sorry about your Mum, Skippy. Christmas is the worst time when people you love are sick.
I don't "need" anything either but my daughter goes out of her way to search out stuff. She seems to come up with some really wonderful things and thoughtful too. I am always surprised and excited with her gifts.

Cods, I have one daughter and 3 grand daughters. I ABSOLUTELY refuse to give "money" or a Gift card. I want to WRAP A PRESENT. So, they make a "list" and I do have a limit .. about $85 each. For Christmas. Probably not that much .... but it does give them a choice to actually THINK about what Grandma can give them ....

Do you have a go with him? I know ADULTS who also play those games ....
I quite like civilisation and some of those strategy games ... and I loaded up "Tycoon City ... New York" the other day .... got bored after a while though. My PC can handle all those sort of games .... 32GB of RAM.
I also use Steam as a friend (who plays those strategy games you mentioned) thinks, because I am female I need to play rubbish like "Bully" ... yawn.
Honestly, I have given up on "games" ... they do NOT interest me like they used to.
