It looks like a painting. You're lucky if you can get stuff for free.
Scrap merchants and wreckers are businesses. They don't buy stuff to give it away.
The stuff I do get for free takes effort. Most often it is when people want unwanted items/junk
removed from their properties (old cars, fridges, washing machines - anything metal) and then I cash it in for scrap (if I have no use for it) when the scrap price is good enough. Which currently isn't. Doesn't even cover fuel lately.

Righto ... sounds like they're possibly the same bird I know as Sulawesi Cuckoo (from Sulawesi in Indonesia). Although in my area they're light grey with yellow beak and about the size of Sea Gulls.
Their loud screeching is really annoying, almost as bad as a gang of Crows "Ark ark ark" all day long.
Although after killing 2 Crows I now only have to say "Fuck off Crow" or ask "You want to die Crow?" and they leave.
These Cuckoos turn up around October and leave around March.

Yeah thanks. They're not the standard Rosella though. White cheeked Rosellas look like slightly over sized blue and yellow Budgies. Really hard to get a decent photo of. Very coy/elusive and when flying constantly change trajectory up and down to prevent being taken by Hawks.

I get King Parrots quite a bit ...

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

The pup I gave away in Gin Gin IGA car park at about 9 weeks of age to some people with a cattle property 12-15km out of Mt Perry, and was found half starved wandering around Mt Perry township a few weeks ago, who I dubbed 'Arnie' because he came back, has gone to a new home.

A family in Bundy spotted the pups in a cage on my ute while at Super Cheap (auto accessories) last week, and wondered if I was selling them. I explained his short history and the husband wanted him.
They seem like nice/decent people and apparently have a Shepherd pup the same age.
The husband and wife came and picked him up from my place yesterday - delayed due to weekend camping trip.

Anyway I'm happy with the outcome.

On the 25th and 27th of September my pig dog bitch Gemma was poisoned.
Research and vet opinion suggests 1080 (sodium fluoroacetate).
3 weeks later, her replacement, a 7 year old bitch Jazzy disappeared while I was out.
On Thursday of last week (24/11/16) Gemma's 4 moth old pup Rip was poised and got sick.
The second dose (bait near my dam) killed him on Saturday night (26/11/16) on the floor in my caravan.
I suspected an anti-coagulant like warfarin (in rat poison) was used, but further research suggests 1080.
On Sunday (27/11/16) Gemma's other 4 month old pup Fang was poisoned despite my vigilance.
He only nicked off, still very close to camp for a few minutes. He was sick within half an hour.
I forced brine in to him to make him vomit. Took to Gin Gin vet Monday. They injected saline solution, and sold me anti-biotics.
He came good and near danced across the road back to friend's car.
Tuesday evening I let him out to shit. I went back in the van for a torch and he went up near the donga, where I believe he copped another dose.
I tried to get electrolites in to him, and he fought hard to live. Yesterday afternoon 3:40pm 1/12/16) he died in my arms.

The suffering those poor dogs had to go through. Surely in your neck of the woods it's a criminal offence to poison dogs? There would have to be at least one sympathetic policeman up there who could investigate this. Poisoning five dogs is shockingly extreme. When I thought a dog of mine might have ingested a bit of rat bait once - the vet gave him large doses of Vitamin K. Thankfully he had no effects whatsoever.

Even your vet must have offered some suggestions about how to bring this sadistic criminal to justice.

Yeah thanks mate.

Up the adjoining valley (has different name - to my North) are the remnants of junky scum syndicates, and in the preceding valley (to my South East) are the remnants of halfwit inbreds and so called tough guys who back down and want be mates as soon as you stand up to them, but less than 1km just up the road is a two faced pillar of society illicit gun runner on anti-depressants with a spiteful grudge.

Some people have creek banks, got a couple of those.
And some people have investment banks, very unlikely to have any of those.
But at my place is the beginnings of a Dozer bank.
Nov16#1-2 little dozers all in a row.jpg
Dozer 1 (yellow International) needs a new hip.
Dozer 2 (red International) is fully functional.
Dozer 3 (another International){not in photo} is a 1940s model, which needs the cables and pulleys replaced with hydraulic rams and hoses + a new motor. Probably take a while before up and running.
Dozer 4 (bigger Caterpillar) needs a new motor {coming soon}.

Most banks need a structure to house them, and a site for the building. So a shed is a near future project.
Nov16#3-Dozer pad.jpg
The main advantage to having a dozer bank is, if you need a new road, you can just make a withdrawal from the bank.
Nov16#5-East Ratbag Rd.jpg
And the biggest advantage to making your own roads is you get to name them.

How can you be sure these baits have been put on your property? Don't you have motion cameras everywhere there?
