SN or FD ... like the thread title says, the site times out 'way' too quick.
Usually I have to log in 2 or 3 times just to make 1 post/reply.
Bit frustrating .. pretty annoying too.
EDIT ADDITION: had to log in twice to create this thread and post in it.
make that 3 times now

If Donald Trump is so close to the Ruskis, why couldn't he get Vladimir Putin to put novichok in Xi Jjinping's lipstick?

Make sure you tick the stay logged in box. Sounds like a problem with your connection. I think you get logged out if your IP address changes.
Either that, or the AFP is intercepting your transmissions.

Once I close the window - I'm logged off too. Where is the 'stay logged in' box?

I always tick the "remember me" box when I do have to login, the site then shows me as logged in automatically when I come onto it each visit.
I then only have to re login if I deleted the history on my browser which is rare.

Not sure if this has any bearing on the topic, but just now the site logged me off for the 3rd time since the new server... and yes I do use keep me logged in etc.
There was a time when this never used to happen but it has been happening more than it used to for the last year or so.
No idea why, I just log back in.
Oh and I do not delete history etc...
