Geelong and Saints, who will get it ?

Some predicting Cats by a comfortable margin but I think it will be tight ,hotly contested battle.

I confidently predict that in Adelaide this afternoon much beer brewed from my Packs will be consumed!

Wild weather predicted for grand final
Posted September 26, 2009 10:00:00

The weather bureau says hail is a possibility for the MCG on AFL grand final day.

It has forecast a chilly, wet and windy day as St Kilda and Geelong battle for the flag with temperatures expected to reach a minimum of ten degrees and a maximum of 14.

The bureau's Richard Clayton says the 100,000 spectators who will pack the MCG and many more going to barbecues around Victoria should bring their raincoats.

He says showers are expected to start in the second half.

I predict the entire Gelong team will have a syncronised heart attack from the pre-game stress meaning glorious Collingwood will have to fill in for them.

In the unlikely event that unlikely event does not happen then I hope St Kilda wins just so I can see Molly Meldrum get shitfaced and dive naked into the Yarra river.

In the final minutes I was hoping the tie score would hold so we would have to go through it for another week.

Has that ever happened?

Aussie rules have had a very few tied matches, so good question if the AFL and, being parochial for a second, the SANFL have something similar to the soccer mechanisms: extra time then a goal kicking until one team is 2 goals up on the other.
