What do you think of Hinch using Parliamentary privilege to name and shame these creeps?

Derryn Hinch remained true to his vow to use parliamentary privilege to name convicted pedophiles in his maiden Senate speech.

Senator Hinch this afternoon identified a Canberra “degenerate” whose semen was found on the nappy of a toddler.
He detailed the man’s sentencing and background, and continued to name three other pedophiles whose identities had been suppressed.
“It will be a court of last resort, I will not be a cowboy,” Senator Hinch said.
“But if it is necessary to protect a child’s wellbeing, then damn right, I will name the human vermin, and I will tonight.”
Senator Hinch called for a public register of sex offenders because “the public has a right to know”.
He also vowed to continue to fight to end live exports of cattle, but said it would be difficult with “Barnyard Barnaby” Joyce as agriculture minister.
Senator Hinch said he would fight for euthanasia to be made legal.
He also wants to push for an increase in the number of organ donors in Australia, following his own liver transplant.
“I do have a vested interest,” he said.

“I’ve held my old liver in my hand.”

He's always been vocal about paedophiles and got into lots of trouble because of it. He's too old now to change his ways.

Good on him. Why should these blokes get such short prison sentences for such vile crimes and when they've served their time - they can go back to doing what they like best - destroying young lives.

I vaguely remember that the name of the person arrested for this offence was named in the Canberra Times ......

Hinch is NOT telling anything new .... it will be listed in the legal stuff online .... in FULL DETAIL in the Legal files, if you are all interested.

As far as I am concerned, this person needs to be "abused" by having his member and attachments removed, perhaps by a plastic knife or a razor blade, if they can find one.

While on the topic of law and order hypocrites, I will state that the current Philippino president as a law and order advocate is without doubt a sinister character.
So while I can sympathise with the desire to execute speed junkies (i'd like to hang, shoot and burn them myself) I also recognise this is a cover/distraction for whatever he's been or is up to.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's been running smack/heroin and failed to muscle in on the speed/ice market, so wants the competition eliminated.

I agree with you about Hinch. I know nothing about that Filipino person. Hinch is now in a powerful position and I doubt he will deliver anything of benefit to Australia. The pedo thing does not deliver a free ticket to life membership to the Senate. I see he is now drinking again after losing one liver and getting a replacement.
