Is this your first trip to the States Vic - Wayne?Wayne wrote:Thanks AiA. Is Alamo rental car OK? We are hiring one for 20 odd days and they are half the cost of Avis. Hertz etc. Those two want an extra $US300 just for the privilege of hiring in SF and dropping off in Seattle!

SOCK....
Seems to me new members are here just to fill the place with rubbish pull the place down.
There's stuff in Off Topic that belong in the Vortex, which means it should just be deleted or only in confidential.

It is as a holiday, and with the war office. I did visit there decades ago when we had a port visit in SF. We have organised a lot of accommodation on Air BNB - at huge savings, I will download the UBER app before we go, so the last real unknown is the rental car!
I managed to get a medium size Nissan for $A33 per day, with just about everything included and no surcharge for pickup/dropoff in another state. This was nearly half the price of the worldwide Avis/Hertz etc companies

I have no idea whatyou are on on about. To avoid confusion with BigVic at OzPol, I created this account and have asked Skippy to delete/suspend/block whatever, the BigVic account. I only have limited access to this site so threads can be moved wherever the Admin sees fit. All you have to do is ask - that gets it right most times. Anything else?

I love San Francisco. Great food at Fishermans Wharf and good entertainment. More seals than I have ever seen in my life. I think it was Pier 39.

Re: Oh look, a Taxi thread.
I envy you. My next visit will be to the east coast though.
There was this guy in SF near Pier 39 last time I was there who was making an absolute fortune from tourists. He had this huge branch and squatted down on the sidewalk and hid behind it.
When unsuspecting people walked past he would jump out and scream "BOO". People freaked out. I almost lost my breakfast. It was hilarious though. He had this HUGE friend watching nearby to act as a body guard I guess in case someone beat him up.
We watched him for awhile and he was raking in the money from such a simple thing.

One only needs to look at the constant crap you and Lisa generate, and you seem to think you are above her....

No one is asking you to read it - yet like a little poodle you return. Is she the Missus? If so, my apologies for your bad choice.Rorschach wrote:Really? You are clueless....?Wayne wrote:Rorschach wrote:Wayne? Really?
