Redneck is also a Member over at Monk's Twitterblog where ALL who post there are Mods. That is Monk (HBS Gay), Aussie, AG, Lefty, annielaurie and some female granny from Aussie's dead board.

I suggested to Redneck that should he have a desire to MODERATE to ask Jovial Monk .... I don't think Aussie would allow anyone else to moderate on his dead board (other than Monk, AG and Annielaurie) with The Buttons.

To answer a few questions put forward in this thread-
As Nef has said you need to be an active member for a year to vote.
The admin,whoever that may be, appoints their own mods.
An election was held from the 20/09/15 to the 27/09/15 last year.

Well, if you are referring to me, I have been registered here for quite a while, but mainly stay in the background reading, with great amusement, some poster's "conspiracy theories" My request for moderator status was more a tongue in cheek posting to get the attention of a large greek lady from Hurstville and it succeeded. I hope this particular person is not a close relative - I say that - because the language used is very similar. Call me old and old fashioned, but I try not to swear in front of, or in writing to, genuine Ladies and when I am confronted with it I tend to put them in the recycle bin together with their leggings, hair curlers, cheap perfume, bad breath, body odour and Winfield Reds. I hope to remain a contributor to the board - it has started out extremely well

Do NOT LIE about "staying in the background". You dropped in here back on the 18th (before OzPol had a stroke) but didn't post anything.

I'm not sure if Bic Vic and Redneck understand the Constitution FD installed here when he first bought PA. Members have to be here for usually a year or so and then they're entitled to vote at the yearly election. I'm not sure whether long term, but banned members can vote under special circumstances, but new members have to wait unfortunately.

Well I have been a member since October 2014, So I guess the should qualify me.

Is there a copy of this constitution on the forum?

Perhaps Skippy might like to tell us is there an election pending (or is this all speculation by some)and what he proposes as the procedures that will be followed.

The following link is a copy of PA's constitution on Wiki. It might look straightforward, but it's extremely ambiguous. There have been dozens of fights about it's true meaning.

Didnt see anything in that Constitution which supported anything claimed about who can vote and who can be elected as Admin?

Or did I miss something being an old fart n all!
