His wife has probably given up on him due to his drinking habits, and verbal abuse after a few beers. Old Farts tend to either sit on the couch and watch SPORT or adjourn to the local drinking hole when they retire .... or frequent Political Boards without commenting about politics but calling females rude names.

Females always have The Home. Males are at a loss after they no longer go-to-work.

All i can add is, my wife and all the women in my life remember everything, every little transgression. I on the other hand done remember shit and don't really care.

Funny how that works. If it is not soooo important, it gets lost by that memory being replaced by one that is more useful.

Maybe that is the main difference. Women have evolved a better memory as part of their survival of the fittest as their tools are words and devious actions and men just punch it out in the present.
