Gold Coast snake catchers have had busiest winter in more than 20 years due to warm winter.

EXPERIENCED Gold Coast snake catchers say they have had the busiest winter in more than 20 years as a growing number of the cold-blooded creatures slither their way into suburbia.

Unseasonably warm weather and land clearing have been blamed for the large number of snakes seen off the beaten track.
