The media is still swayed towards Turnbull. The coalition will probably be returned unless Credlin and Abbott become too bitter and outspoken. Credlin will have a good deal of influence in whether the Coalition wins or not with her new media job. You can see the bitchiness starting to creep out already. Who can blame her - she lost a great job.

I have no idea who will "win", I guess we will have to wait and see what happens on 2 July.

I am, however, getting political stuff in my snail mail box.

Yesterday I got some blurb from Andrew Leigh, my local MP, asking for my vote and saying that last Federal Election 1 in 20 Canberrans voted informal ... could be more this time, judging by what people are telling me. Even in Canberra, most people care less about "politics" but they will vote ALP or Greens anyway.

Today I got some blurb from Malcolm (whose signature looks like "Mal Bull" LOL, waffling on about his team's PLAN FOR A STRONG ECONOMY .... and asking me to back Senator Zed Seselja (who did NOT back Turnbull in the back-stabbing episode, he was loyal to Tony Abbott).

I plan to vote informal but I might give Zed the tick in the Senate ... he's an OK guy.

Derryn Hinch's Justice Party sounds interesting. It's running candidates in all states.

Justice for all victims - including animal justice and voluntary euthanasia.

The longer Turnbull is PM - the worse he gets. He fooled a lot of people - all talk and no substance. Shorten has become a good opposition leader and is smarter than he looks, but the thought of either Labor or the Coalition running this country is a worry. Hopefully it will be a hung parliament.

I can't stand Turnbull and there is no way I would vote for him .... or Shorten. Informal for me or I might even pay the 20 bucks and not bother to turn up.

Im only going to cast a senate vote.
I don't want to preference either of the major parties( or in my case the Nationals or Labor) above the other as neither deserve my preference.

We agree, Skip. Senate is the most important this time. Stuff the rest of them. Should be interesting on Election Night to see the percentage of INFORMAL votes. Could be an all time record if everyone keeps to their word. :rofl
